§ 16-262. Certified list of exempt entities.

The county clerk of the county shall provide any telecommunication carriers collecting the surcharge with a certified list of those network connections assigned to governmental entities, which provide police, firefighting, medical, and other emergency services, to be exempt from imposition of the surcharge. The certified list may be revised by the emergency 911 telephone system board (ETSB) on 60 days' prior written notice provided to the telecommunications carriers.
